Hey guys, I want to connect my ipod through my avic z1 but don’t want to use the adaptors that allow you to control the ipod through the touch screen (very slow). How can I connect the ipod through the auxiliary av input? I am able to access the back of my unit, but I don’t really know anything about electronics and different type of plugs/adaptors. Where is the auxiliary av input (to me this means something like red/white/yellow rca inputs that I have on my tv). Could someone walk my though what cables/adaptors I need and where to plug them in to connect my ipod? thanks
