  1. Told my mate it would be you that answered , nice one Boris , thanks yet again
  2. Cool , hacked EZR available , now I can finally go and break my AVIC OK, so I have found sources for all sorts of wonderful iGo 8.3 content and am in the process of grabbing what I want... Can I use Europe.DEM file (all of Europe) instead of the existing western, eastern etc.dem files that are stock ? If I just update files I have on my AVIC as stock (with newer versions) do I still need to add a new license or is the 'scene' license just for if I want maps for a region I didn't have as stock ?
  3. +1 for etienne22s' question Boris , how 'tight' is the unhacked EZrider and the licensing ? Can I for example use (copy to the AVIC via testmode and overwrite existing) updated versions of .fbl files I am already licensed for or would they failed some hash check ?
  4. You'll need an appropriate license file as well. I imagine that when the executable is released there will be some working licenses as well... Thanks for the reply Boris exactly what I wanted to know, I would assume that licences would become as 'available' as the hacked EzRider once its released
  5. OK, for my next newbish question .... Ezrider 3.0 being hacked is what I would need to be able to just add the updated .fbl map files that various places post to my AVIC (3.01firmware) witout Pioneer 'signing' those maps ??? Thx
  6. Confirmed working on stock EU version of F910BT(3.01) Used value of 160.0 and wiring is standard (SpeedSense and handbrake cable connected as per stock install). Handbrake no longer kills video or navigation functions. Many thanks for this mod.
  7. Confirmed to work (as described it would) on stock EU version of F910BT(3.01). Many thanks for the mod , that 'nag' screen was beginning to annoy.
  8. Confirmed working on stock EU F910BT(3.01). Many thanks for the images mod , love it compared to stock.
  9. No, it's not signed, but unless it sends heartbeat messages to mainmenu (probably), AVIC assumes that navigation crashed and reboots itself. Shame , thanks for the reply Boris.
  10. According to Leetcoder in another wince thread , the AVIC series use Arm4.
  11. OK , so the exrider is 'signed' and if the checksum isn't what the mainmenu then you get an error ?
  12. As much as I love LeetLauncher , it's current beta status is holding me back from using it as my default frontend for my F910BT. I also feel that the iGo map application is probably the worst choice that Pioneer could have made for its AVIC map application and would love to replace it with the TomTom equivilent. Is it as 'easy' as replacing Ezrider with the TomTom map application for WinCE (renamed to ezrider.exe) and 'tweaking' it's settings to work with the rest of the Pioneer software ? Or , is all the Pioneer software 'signed' to stop this sort of mod ?
  13. TomTom has always been TeleAtlas. They like them so much they bought it... Maps are in a format custom to the navigation program, so they can't be shared. Thanks for the reply BorisM , you are in the US and yes I believe that TomTom only changed to NavTeq in Europe for about 2 years and returned back to TeleAtlas when they bought them. Real shame each is custom format Was worth asking just in case
  14. OK , so I have spent hours searching and reading various parts of this thread and found some answers LeetCoder , correct me if I am wrong but don't all 3 supported GPS applications (until very recently when TT changed to TeleAtlas) use NavTeq maps ? This being the case could we/you 'tweak' the 3 apps so they would use the same 'shared' map database or has each manufacturer been 'awkward' and had NavTeq supply them maps in their own proprietory formats ??
  15. OK , a newbie to this site and a little 'wet behind the ears' so forgive the questions , a 46 page thread is hard to read completely OK , so I have got my Leetcoder 3.0 and am ready to add my maps. I own a TomTom device and it has the Western Europe maps on it (and on the PC in the TomTom repository). Which version of the maps do I need , the ones 'signed' to the device or the 'generic' unsigned ones in the repository ? Which directories do I require to add to the Leetcoder 3.0 pack and where do I put them ? And how do I activate them ? Same question goes for the iGo and Garmin app
