Problem solved, was using the wrong testmode zip version. Phew. Where is the link for the updated testmode zip? I've had the exact issue. The how to steps and sticky hacks and mod link needs to be updated. Searching this forum is rather difficult. As of 13Jul2010 this post has a working testmode for systems with 3.02 upgrades: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=32520#p218494 This link or file name should be updated to reflect this. There are several links with "old" testmode. A noobie is not going to know one from the other, ever. Thanks to BorisM for help via PM.

I'm at the beginning of trying to get testmode on my 700bt. I put the files on the sd card as instructed. The pioneer does not go to a white screen. It boots up normal like I don't have a card in there. Advice? I'm failing step one. The following file was ADDED to the sdcard (2gb card, named but with no spaces) file: device.nng I reformatted the disk and still isn't being seen. I copied an MP3 file on the sdcard the pioneer can see that and it became an option in the music source and it's playing the song. thanks.
  4. Is there a way to get the navigation to indicate that your destination is on the left of right side of the street? Street numbers are great when you can find them but even my mother's Blackberry GPS tells her which side of the street or road it's on. Would be nice to not have to do a u-turn all the while the system is recalculating route because you blew past it. Thanks. slimshades26 My AVIC-F700BT has NO hacks and is upgraded to version 3.020.
  5. Do you mean this mod? viewtopic.php?t=18624 Thanks for both replies.
  6. Is there are way to pause directions when you've plugged in a route? I know how to get out of my town, it's after that I may need help. Or pause so you can exit the freeway for gas or coffee without the system getting all mad and recalculating (make a u-turn, make a u-turn...)? I also know that going the freeway at 5pm on a Friday through downtown is not the "fastest" route, so I'll circumvent that on surface streets till I'm where it's safe to get on, that also pisses her off. Every minute she's telling me in 400 feet make a right... I want to route it before leaving the house so it
