  1. So I got my playstation 2 working in the car after grounding the video RCA input. But for some reason the PS2 video freezes when I try playing a ps1 game. All of the PS2 games and DVDs play without any issues. I was wondering if anyone else had problems with this. Were the ps1 games run in a different video resolution that is incompatible with the F700BT? Thanks.

    Resolution is irrelevant for composite

  2. okay, now this is the part i dont understand...

im running a line driver to ramp the shitty 2V preouts that go to my bose amps to 4V...

Now i have everything wired up to a computer PSU right now... and no whine and its plenty loud? I dont get this!!!!!!!!!

Can someone give me the run down of what i would be experiencing with blown outputs????? please!

  3. Hey everyone.. I Love my F Series.. And... Im having some serious issues..

One day out of the blue.. Whining. Even with the engine off.

    Ive tried everything..

    Harness, grounds, RCA's...

So where do i go from here? How much is it going to cost to get this fixed? Or how about anyone selling the necessary parts to fix this?

  4. I find myself consistently checking this thread over the course of the day, and this has all left me wondering what can we do (the members involved or interested in this project) to help make this a less painful project? Or to help improve upon this project?

Im sure you could use help with the GUI, testing, ect. and im sure all of us will agree were willing to help.

  5. have you mabey come to the conclusion that it doesnt exist? Im confused those screens above are from a mod, so why dont you mod his mod? or is that the problem? try this..... create a file named '746_32K_MN-000_24b.bmp' and place it in the res folder or such and see if yours will work?

  6. Great to hear more from you EEGeek, You mentioned a couple times about your "hardware" what exactly are you guys using? Also what are the chances this could be used on say my 98 Nissan Maxima? Its global OBDII so im sure theres ways to make it compatable, and i work part time on the weekends at my fathers shop so i know that with scanners of many types you need certain Keys to use even the global OBDII on diffrent vehicles.

as to the subject of the interface for the USB, i defintely saw that coming and such is not a problem i was just curious as to the bare minimum hardware needed to interface.

Would a Generic OBDII interface such as a Fleabay model ODB to USB interface?
