    bpnd files

At the moment I just want to look at them. I don't know if they are useful or not, but to me they look like they might be the layout files for the non-nav screens.

anyone know of a program that can view/edit them?
  3. I just upgraded my software to I think v3.1 using the legit CNSB-100FM discs from Pioneer. I was thinking that this update would fix the time issues, but mine is not fixed at all - in fact it is worse in a way. Was I worng about this supposedly being fixed? Actually, I thought it was supposed to have been fixed in 2.006... Now it appears that the time is adjusting correctly in auto mode, but it is not observing DST maybe? However, if I just put it back to manual mode and select eastern, it fixes the time. The big problem is that in manual mode, the time is off on all of the non-naviga
  4. thanks, guys. I was expecting it to be in the hacking section.
  5. I know that this has probably been covered somewhere many times, but I did a search and it came up with a bunch of unrelated stuff and the sticky thread hasn't been updated for 3.0 yet. So, is there a new testmode file for 3.0 or do I use the old one? I just did the upgrade and I need to re-apply the speed/parking brake hack.

    divx vod?

Has anyone been able to get content for the divx vod stuff that is actually cost effective and worthwhile? I have been having a real hard time even finding it, but once I did, the movies were like $16 each which doesn't make is worthwhile when you can buy the movies at Walmart for $10... just curious if it is more or less a useless feature.
  7. ok, so I turned on logging on the F90bt and now on my memory card in the "gpslog" folder, there is a *.bin file. However, when I go to avic feeds, click on drive report, then drive report again, import, browse to the gpslog folder and click ok, it says unable to locate file. I also tried this for the eco report and fuel report with no luck.
  8. I guess I am totally missing something, but could someone please tell me how to use avic feeds? I have installed the software, and took my sd card out of my F90BT, but when I browse to the card in avic feeds there isnt a drive log or splash screen or anything. Do I have to enable something on the F90BT to tell it to log to teh sd card or something? The manual that comes with avic feeds pretty much assumes that your sd card has stuff from the F90BT stored on it. Mine has a file called "device.nng" and a folder called "gpslog" that is empty. For the moment, what I want to know is ho
  9. I just did this and it is super easy. If it is telling you that the parking brake is hooked up wrong, that is good - it means you have grounded the brake wire. Now you just need to do the software bypass and you will be good to go. http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17715 Essentially, just boot into windows ce (testmode), copy all the files on my flash drive to the sd card, go to your computer and change the speed (I set mine to 160, which equates to 100 mph), then copy the data.zip file back to the f90bt, take the card out and restart. The whole thing took me all of 30 minute
  10. well, at least you gave me a free bump!
  11. I have an overhead monitor that I am going to install and was wondering about how I should hook up the A/V. Originally I was planning to run audio and video to it because it has IR headphones, but it looks like the F90BT doesn't have zones, so I guess the speakers would have to be whatever is on the overhead anyway? Seems a little strange that such a high end unit doesn't have zones, but I can't find anything about it in the manual. If it doesn't, I might just hook up the video so the speakers on the monitor aren't trying to play music... what have you all done?
  12. How do you get this firmware update? I have asked Pioneer about it by email and have not gotten a response yet, but I just bought mine about 2 weeks ago.
