  1. Hello, I bought an avic d3 off of ebay and the west disc is scratched to the point where it won't read all of the time. I wanted to see if any east coast guys have an unopened West dvd that they didn't want? thanks
  2. Thanks for the posts. I am having a similar issue. I will try this and see if I can fix it.
  3. God, I hate this thing. I have had pretty much the same problem as said above, but with the factory disc! At first, it would not load, but would let me use the radio/ipod. Then, the map eventually started coming up, but I had the problem described with some of the buttons not working (search by address etc.). 6. I was wondering if anyone has ever painted the metra dash kit gloss black to match the unit? I have a 300c and the avic looks small in the factory navigation space. I think by painting the dash kit to match the unit, it will blend more. thanks
  7. Hey guys. Newbie here. I recently purchased an avic d3 and am a little lost as to what harnesses I need? I have searched this forum and lx platform specific forums and the answers are all over the place. I have an 06 chrysler 300c with factory navigation, boston accoustic speakers (w/center speaker on dash). I would like to retain stock steering wheel button controls and don't care about satellite radio. From what I have read, I need three different harnesses to do the install. My question is, which ones exactly? Also, what would you recommend between pac audio and metra? Sor
