Thanks for the replies!!!! I am a noob..so If anyone else has any suggestions, I would definately appreciate them. I guess I am leaning closer to an f90bt..just in case I do want dvd ability.

I really like what these avic units can do and I have been debating what I should buy. I am torn between the older f700bt/90bt models or the new x710BT that is out. Is anyone aware of any processor differences that make these newer models faster???? I'll be using an older ipod..I don't care much for the DVD...but I would like to take advantage of any firmware updates. Am I correct in assuming that the older F models are upgradeable to the new 3.0 frimware??? I am basically kind of looking for the most bang for the buck. Any suggestions would be appreciated. THANKS!!!
