If it works with your 5.1 then surely it is not an iOS issue? As yours would have the same problem as mine, or have you not updated to 5.1.1 yet?

Yeah I tried changing in the settings but after looking in my myflashdisk and the files are missing.

So this unit is now pretty much useless to me unless Pioneer bring out an update to address the issue, which lets face it isn't going to happen!!!

Hi can anybody provide a UK Voice for my F900BT? I recently updated to 4.0.1 and now have a US male voice, I really need a UK voice back on this unit.

If my iPhone is connected and I am on the iPhone screen and then I press either the menu or map buttons the unit will just freeze and then I will need to press the reset button, it's really getting on my nerves!!! Has anybody else suffered with this issue? Also does anyone know of a fix?

Ok I have now updated the unit. I have the following problems.... The navigation voice is a US male, how can I change to a UK voice? Also my iPhone 4s on iOS 5.1.1 is crashing my unit, after the iPhone is connected if I press any other button like menu or map it will just freeze my system???

Guys I have tried to update to the 4.0 Hybrid but when I select the update by SD/MMC (FORMAT) then push reset for 5 secs it just boots the system up normally and not into testmode?! If I do not push reset and just leave it then a message in red comes up at the bottom of the screen saying "update by SD/MMC (FORMAT) has failed Can anyone please assist?

Are pioneer going to keep working at the firmware? Because at the moment it appears there are many problems?

Come on guys, what are the pro's and cons of the two versions? I can get an AppRadio 1 for £180 the 2 is going to cost around £250-£300 Which is going to be the most customisable and if you were buying today which way would you go? I am coming from a F900BT so I am more than aware that I won't be getting the perfect solution from Pioneer, that said what do the rivals have to offer?

"The problem you're gonna have now is there is no ignition source readily available on the audi thats easy to wire up the Red ignition cable to. The stereo should flick on and off when the key is in or out of the ignition. The stereo at the moment will only work via the permanent battery cable, you need an ignition source too. Hi all, I am in need of desperate help! I have a Pioneer AVIC F900BT, I had this unit fitted in my MK4 Golf for just under 3 years and it has served me well. I recently bought a new car an Audi A3 so I removed the Pioneer in order to fit it into the Audi, I connected it up and turned on the ignition and the lights on the unit lit up and the start up screen displayed, I then turned the ignition off so I could tidy the wiring up before I pushed it into postion.
