Hello guys I know the AVH-5700 unit says no operation for DVD or TV when in motion due to the brake interlock. But what about the AV (RCA) input? Has anyone successfully tried? for example, what if you have Xbox, and u hooked it up ..and ur passengers wanted to play while the vehicle was in motion? thanks

Does avic n3 speak street names/freeway exits correctly? it doesn't just say turn left in 300 meters? or exit off 15 exit hwy.

ok if they don't share the same interface.. which one is better..or which model came out first before the other?? just curious..thanks i can't seem to find any release date information of the z1 or n3 on pioneer's website.. they don't mention when it was released

It appears that the Z1 has a nicer looking interface/software. i was just wondering if the Z1 and N3 share the same interface in terms of the menus, the features, the buttons, etc.etc. thanks

Hi, I really do like in-dash navigation but I can't seem to justify the $1400 price tag. The nuvi 660 seems to be a great unit as well but it's just not in-dash and its more portable. For more than double the price, I'm having a hard time justifying buying the n3. Can anyone tell me what the N3 has in features that is definitely the deal breaker? thanks

hello, I have a 2005 tsx with non-navi. I am looking to buy the avic n3 but I have few questions. I want to make the install as quick and easy as possible. So first off... 1) I understand there is a switch on the navi that will let u watch videos while in motion and also just ground the brake wire and it will be good to go. 2) What is the purpose of the VSS speed sensor wire? Is it a true necessity to have this wire in order for the avic n3 to function?? What if you do'nt connect it? if the VSS wire tells what speed you are going, doesn't normal GPS hand held units calcula
