  1. Hi all, thanks to everyone who has helped me over the last couple of weeks setting up my system. I also write for http://www.geeks.co.uk so please come and take a look at my review. Feel free to comment and rate! http://www.geeks.co.uk/6211-pioneer-avic-f900bt-review Thanks again.
  2. OK I think I have the correct arrow file now ui_pioneer\common\diriconbig.bmp but when changing a couple of the arrows to test and copying back into system it errors when opening map with cannopt open this file will exit application. So I must be saving it incorrectly, I am using paint.net to open directly from DATA.zip file. Have tried saving with 8 bit and autodetect (auto giving the same file size as 24 bit). Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong when saving? If I can get the arrow colours changed, I will also need to get the text above the arrow changed too as this is green.
  3. You can find GTIMATT's latest DATA.zip here on his post first page. *** 9th April *** Posted ner version. See here: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=23003&p=158721#p158721 ------------ No one able to help me change the route arrow colours?
  4. Hi all, thanks to everyone who has been helping me setup my system over the past week! I am using GTIMATT's data.zip file and is awesome, and have now got my roads clearer. So my question is... How can I change the route arrows colours? Is this a setting or are they images that need to be changed? I am struggling to see the green arrows on the blue background so would like to change them to black. I was given the location of the arrows and told they should be in various diriconXXX.bmp files in the common subfolder but when looking can't see any that are green like in GTIMATT's
  5. Thanks BorisM, found MioMap and uncompressed all bitmaps successfully. Unfortunately, I didn't find the image I was looking to modify. Maybe you will know? I was trying to change the colour of the route arrow from Green to Black, from the posts I read I thought it was an image but obviously not. Any idea how to change this colour? I should be able to change the background now at least. Many thanks.
  6. Hi all, anyone know of software that will uncrompress/compress bitmaps? Trying to change some images but can't open them, found out it's because they are compressed and the original link to software is no longer valid... Appreciate the help!
  7. Hi, first of all Matt your mod is the nuts and thanks for that! I'm trying to change my road colour from green to something darker purple maybe, I have gone through and changed some settings like in the posts but still remains green. Can anyone help? I changed the following files in the DATA.ZIP and copied over. day2dcolor.ini (file pasted below) day3dcolor.ini I would also like to change the route arrow (top left) from green to black as I find this difficult to see in the day. I saw in this post you can change these files but the link to the software to uncompress the bitmaps
  8. Cool, I hope it works for you too, I was running 2.009 firmware.
  9. Thanks, that worked a treat and was able to get everything working again!
  10. I managed to resolve this today! So I now have bluetooth and my safety cams functioning correctly. This is what I did... Downloaded Testmode V2.3 from here -> http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FXFEWLS0 copied to SD card and booted from it into Testmode. From Testmode I moved (leave the folders in place) all the files in the following folders to SD card for backup; MyFlashDisk /User / userdata / iGO / Save MyFlashDisk /User / userdata / Setup Rebooted device without SD card. (had to re-configure the satnav basic settings) The bluetooth then displayed the version (V2.9) and
  11. Sorry no idea, I got it from the top of this post viewtopic.php?f=34&t=18977 I don't think it's the version of testmode though, it's not loading the firmware at boot either.
  12. Hello, please help. I recently upgraded my firmware to 2.009 on a F900BT and all was sweet. I then registered for the safety cams and uploaded. After this I noticed the problem mentioned many times here with the bluetooth version not found and not working. I have since tried reloading the firmware but the system doesn't seem to see the update on the SD card, same with trying to load testmode, the system just boots up as normal. I have followed the instructions and ensured the card is formatted with FAT32. I know the card is OK as trying to update the bluetooth it's reading it, althoug
  13. Hi mate, I saw thess posts last night with a link to the backup files ,but no idea if US or EU. viewtopic.php?f=33&t=25424 viewtopic.php?f=34&t=24888 If you know, please let me know, I'm wondering whether to do this or not. Right now my only problem is bluetooth, which I think is from loading the saftey cam update and if I have a choice of one or the other, I would choose the saftey cams. Both would be nice, as it's a £700 unit! Cheers.
  14. Hello, I think I have the same problem. I updated the safteycams yesterday and noticed today my bluetooth isn't working. Can someone help me or show me how to delete these settings/folders like have been discussed in this post? Many thanks.
  15. Hi any luck with your bluetooth problem? I have the exact same issue. I was already on the latest firmware 2.9 but when trying to update again to see if that helped it just wouldn't read my SD card unless it already knew it was at this version... SD card is fine as the bluetooth update can read it. Please let me know, going to call Pioneer tomorrow if they are there or Monday. Thanks.
