recently will driving the map shows the map upside down, as soon as i go into 3d mode it seems to work better. is this common? also does anyone have a good diy on the wire swap for the f500bt power problem?

just installed the avic f500bt+ndg500 amp + parrot harness. everything works ok except sometimes the unit does not turn on when my car turns on and sometimes it will start up exactly where it left off instead of running through the splash screen. also the bluetooth is very erratic, sometimes it will connect right away and sometimes the blue light doesnt even come on. i have the ebrake wire grounded, it gives me an error message once and a while. also i did not swap the pins on the harness, does it matter? -Nick.

the unit does mute my music, dont know if that matters.

thanks eddie. now my problem is when i make a call i cant hear the phone ring or the person on the other line, but they can hear me fine. i guess this is a problem with my speakers? it no longer freezes though, which is good. i also do not get the navi updates through my speakers. any ideas where the problem could be?

unit freezes after phone call is ended. is this a common thing? also i was reading somewhere that 2 wires on the harness are switched? is this true? any detailed info on this? i also did not ground any of the unused wires, should i? when using the phone through the unit are the voices supposed to come out of my car speakers? im using the ndg500. thanks.

does anyone know where i can get one of these without having to deal with calling pioneer.

im installing an f500bt and the pioneer amp designer for it. on the amp they have a spot for a harness to radio and to navi. where do i get the harness for the "to navi". which box should it have been in? im pretty sure i never received it.

i want to hardwire the power source so i dont have the car charger sticking out of the socket.

if i was to cut off the end of the power line the goes into the cigar lighter, would it have a + and - wire that i could just hardwire? im no longer running an amp and would just like to have power to the unit when the car is on. thanks.

no facory amp, just a base headunit. so pretty much i hook up the f500bt, hook it to the pioneer amp ndg500, then use the parrot harness to hook it up to my stock radio? this will power the nav and amp when the key is on?
