Do I have to put the factory radio back in to do this?

I have one nagging problem so far since I installed the radio. I have a Chrysler SRT8 and when I first get in the Uconnect takes over my phone. I took it off my phone but everytime I start up it takes my phone over and keeps asking to be added to trusted devices. The bluetooth on the radio won't connect until after I keep telling the phone to not place the Uconnect into trusted devices. I have to do this twice before it connects to the radio. Any sugestions?

Tried the disk mode but it still didn't work. Learned something new though.... Thanks

I just installed the new Z110 but my iPod doesn't work. It looks like it isn't compatible. I tried a friends iPod and it worked fine. I have a 2nd gen 60gig. Is the iPod too old and the headunit doesn't recognize it? A message comes up on the screen that the iPod isn't connected. If it is my iPod is there an update available so I can use? I really don't feel like buying a new iPod when there is nothing wrong with it!!
