Yeah. I didn't think there was another way to hook up an IPOD to an Avic. You'll need the audio/video cables to plug into the back of the Avic for it to correctly work.. so you're correct, you need the Pioneer IPOD cable.

AVIC F700, when I play audio with an IPOD, my passenger side speaker doesn't work or/is barely audible, however with the antenna (radio) I can hear sound fine. I guess this is the 'IPOD Adapter' wire is the culprit? Can't think of anything else unless someone else thinks the IPOD itself is an issue.
