  1. I installed the x910 a couple of years ago with an XM tuner and did the wiring bypass. Can anyone confirm for me that the wiring is the same on the x940? If I upgrade could I just unplug the one unit and plug in the other without having to do any wiring harness changes? Now that MSN Direct is defunct it irritates me not having the traffic features. Of course I understand that the optional traffic tuner is required on the 940. Also, I recall having to do some sort of software tweak when I installed the 910, but it has been a long time and I don't remember what it was. Is something like that

The polished finish and the chrome ring around the AVIC-x910BT's factory knob looks cool, but it is ridiculously impractical. It's bad enough that the factory knob is so low profile that you need fingers like my two-year-old daughter to adjust the volume, but the chrome ring makes it worse because it is too slick to grip...even if you have small enough fingers. The custom knob solves it all. Thanks again!

And then below that it has the address line blank with this message in red, "--> Email Address: Please enter a valid address in the format name@domain.com" I've tried sending it as both a "Purchase" and as "Personal." Same error every time. It is acting like the email address isn't valid or wasn't put in there at all. EDIT: We
