well...kind of odd, but i ended up formatting the card into fat32 again...added one song on there, iit started working. so everything is good now

yep, i tried two different cards. a new one i bought, and the original one i used for the update

nobody ever had this issue? just curious if its something im missing, of if it's gonna be the unit itself. thanks.

I've had the avic for about a month or so now. Had no problems after install, was working great. I actually able to do the 3.0 update listed on this site with no problems. card would read fine. After the update, i didnt use an SD card for anything, so the other day i go to pop it in to get into testmode, but it would not. I then turned the unit on, placed the card in and still would not recognize that it was in there. The card itself was not locked. I tried to reformat it in both fat and fat32, but nothing works. I'm still new to this unit, but i wouldnt imagine there is much to i
