  1. I have an AVIC F90 WITHOUT a reverse camera installed. All of a sudden, every time I turn my car on the "CAUTION - IMAGE MAY APPEAR TO BE REVERSED" black screen comes on as if it were reading a lead from a reverse camera, yet I don't have one. The image doesn't go away and the Menu and Map button become disabled and can not be used. I've tried pulling the unit out and checking all the wires to make sure there is no contact of any kind on any of the camera leads and sure enough there wasnt. I am lost.
  2. Is there any way at all to put a different voice over the navi other than Jesse or Samantha? Jesse's voice isn't so bad, but I'd rather have a female's voice. Samantha talks way to fast and her voice sucks!! My father has an $80 Garmin that has a far superior navi narrator than my $1000 F90BT. Are there any new updates to change this or hacks or something?!? I've had my F90BT for about a month now and to be honest I think the actual navigational aspect of the system kind of sucks. Again, I'm comparing this to an $85 Garmin I was using, which in my opinion blows my $1000 F90 out of the
  3. I believe you're right about this. What's your best solution to this?
  4. I'm a newbie on this forum and I've been doing very extensive research on it for the past two days now, so please don't get crazy when you see that this problem has probably been answered somewhere on the forum. I have the F90BT and I just installed it and did only the hardware bypass. However, once I reach around 10-15mph, a screen pops up saying my ground wire is connect improperly and then the DVD picture closes out and I can not use the address function on the navi. My question is why is this happening, and do I also need to do the software update to reconfigure the mph setting?
