  1. That's weird. It should switch you to the map screen and then popup the box with the Call, Reject, and Volume Keys.
  2. I agree with modifying it as little as possible. This works great so far. The only problem I had was once when I was testing it out. I rejected a call and it sent the call back to the phone and froze the unit for a while and the next call came through the phone and not the unit. But it was fine after a while and rejecting calls ended the call instead of sending it back to the phone. So I'll take it as a fluke.
  3. Wow, cab worked great. Thanks a lot. I get my ringtone in the car now when I get a call. That never happened before. This sure is a much better fix than the one I posted, which didn't seem to work for anyone else but me.
  4. Can you please check your phone and check what version of the BT stack you are using. Thanks.
  5. Will try this soon. Thanks for keeping us updated.
  6. Maybe you guys can try flashing to a ROM that I used where it worked to test it out. If it works on one of those ROMs then it might just be something wrong with a ROM you are using. Try Juicy R7-R8, NRGZ Leo 1/14 and 1/20, MightyROM 1/9 all worked for me. If using NRG or Juicy, replace with the BT files I posted above. MightyROM should work after flash. Good luck guys.
  7. Sorry about that. It worked for me when I tried it with Juicy ROMS, and now NRGZ ROMS.
  8. So it's still the same stack that that you're working with, just updated? The Verizon update build 500 as well. Thanks. Yea, still the stack I mentioned before. Seems to be the only one that's working for me. Edit - Here are the BT files I use. Download, unzip, copy into the Windows folder, soft reset and hopefully it works. http://www.sendspace.com/file/i4p2si
  9. They are just the files that started with BT in the WINDOWS folders. I'm pretty sure the only ones really needed were the driver files. But I grabbed everything just in case. When you replace it, it seems to update the BT stack to the 500 build. The only weird thing is that on MM newer roms with the 500 build, BT wasn't working. But it works when I replace the files. Not sure why that happened.
  10. Not sure why you guys are still having problems, even after custom ROMs. Mine has been working pretty smoothly lately. I just flashed the latest Energy ROM, will test it out later. You guys might want to try Mighty Mikes 1/9/10 ROM, it worked for me perfectly. I would have stuck with it, but I prefer Sense 2.5. I did try, his newer releases, but there were problems, so try the 1/9/10 ROM first. I will also upload the BT files I grabbed from that ROM for you guys to try out. I've replaced files on different ROMs, with them and the BT worked, so maybe it will for you guys too.
  11. I find things seem to work more consistently if you uncheck the option to play system sounds over bluetooth. Or if it fails, maybe try flashing a custom ROM?
  12. It might not be the BTTrayCE because I have it on my phone running EnergyROM Leo and my BT still seems to work fine. The only thing I notice is that every time the unit turns on and the phone connects, the first call is laggy and sometimes won't pick up. But after that, all calls seem to work fine. Does that happen to you too?
  13. Make sure you check the prompt that comes up after you sync the unit with your phone. It asks for permission to access the phonebook. I usually check the box that allows it every time when that comes up so the next time I need to sync, I won't have to allow it manually. Did you update to the newest 6.5 ROM yet? Go to your bluetooth settings and check the about section. Make sure it is version 1.9.2 Build 500. Build 400 did not work for me, but once I went to Build 500, everything works fine. It should be in the new MR1 update from Verizon. Also, I'm pretty sure it's not the dialer that's
  14. Do updated BT friles make Touch Pro2 announce incoming calls through the Bluetooth headset (not necessarily AVIC) instead of the device speaker? Announce as in Voice Command announcing it, or just the BT ringing? Right now I have VC turned off but the unit still rings to let me know there's an incoming call. I haven't tried VC on yet though.
  15. I grabbed all the files in the windows folder that starts with "BT" or "Bluetooth". But I'm pretty sure it would work with just the DLLs, you probably won't need all the BT files since they should be the same, like the PNG images. I didn't copy those over.
  16. Tested...and all I have to say is everyone that is having trouble with their bluetooth needs to get this update ASAP. Everything works great. I can answer from the Avic, using the hard button on the phone, and the slider. And best of all, virtually no slow down, lag, or freezing at all. Can't wait til Juicy puts out a ROM with this included. Edit - I grabbed some BT files from the MM 1/9/10 release when I finished testing it and put it on Juciy R7 and everything still works great. Seems like you can just copy and paste the files into your Windows folder if you don't want to flash any ROMS.
  17. Been reading around and it seems like for right now, only MM has the new bluetooth stack in his ROM. I'm waiting for Juicy to release his R8 and hopefully it will be included. But luckily, there seems to be an official VZW ROM out that upgrades to 6.5 with the new stack. Try flashing to either of those and BT on our F series should be working properly again.
  18. Do you know which one of MM ROMS have it? He has quite a few releases out right now. Hopefully there will be a CAB to install it because I'm running Juicy's ROM right now. Edit, NVM. It's his 1/4 release. Thanks.
  19. Are you able to answer calls and the phone not freezing? I'm pretty sure most of the ROMs use the same stack by now but I'm still getting freezes whenever I get an incoming call. Will check out the MM ROM when I have time. Thanks for the heads up.
  20. Nice, can't wait to see what it looks like. Don't really know how it could be any better than skin #2 but I'm sure you'll make it better.
  21. I did the hack to skip most of the navi warnings but I'm still getting trouble with the bluetooth.
  22. Can you post some pics of what that might look like please. Thanks.
  23. Yep very annoying, hopefully someone cooks in MS BT stack so we can have a working unit again. For now, I just ignore all incoming calls and call them back after it's not frozen anymore.
  24. Isn't the 5th pin meant for charging devices?
