  1. I had the same problem after my recent install of the F700BT. I thought for sure it was the unit, and Pioneer agreed when I talked to them on the phone. I sent it in and 3 weeks later i got it back, they found no problem with the unit. My problem actually turned out to be the PAC adapter that I used. The unit was not supplying enough power to turn the amp on. Not sure what adapter unit you are using with your system, but this may be your problem as well.

  3. I am planning to install the F700BT into my 2008 Corvette with the 6 disc Bose system. The car also has Onstar, steering wheel controls for the stereo, and XM radio. I would like to utilize the steering wheel controls and keep Onstar. I do not use the XM radio nor plan on doing so in the future. I would like any advice and input as to what cables, connectors, etc I might need for the install and to use an old Iphone as my Ipod. Thanks for any advice in advance.
