  1. i have been searching this for hours, and can find no clear answer on if this is possible. I would say it is not based on my the fact that when i try to transfer my phonebook from the iPhone 4, it waits a couple seconds and then says that it failed. I have found many posts saying transfers from the iphone are impossible, and others saying they are possible. Is there a trick? i found a trick with someone changing the format of your top forty numbers, but that is so hackish. Basically i would like to hear someone who got it to work explaining how they did it. I have tried about everyth
  2. Just sort of figured out a workaround.... If you go to each contact and send them one at a time to the pioneer, each one say "sent!" after about one second. Then in the pioneer you hit download from address book, then they go. Each time you do it they all go, or at least the one that you sent individually. 60 contacts took about 15 minutes to send one at a time, and then about 1 minute for the pioneer to actually pull them out of the phone. When you send them they dont actually go, they just get ready to go or something like that. Whatever, at least it worked. the voice dial works pretty
  3. Ok so I get the pantech p7000 phone and go right to the car to see if the contacts would load into the avic 910. I make three contacts and they download in a jiffy no prob. Even Voice command works good. I go home and type in all my numbers and now the numbers wont download at all. Just get a "no phone number " message. the first time when it worked, there was no mention of "send card by operating your phone" or anything like that. Now there is. HUH? SO my quuestion is, doe sthis phone work? I still a have couple weeks to trade it for an LG. I have deleted and re-paired every
  4. hello, am i missing something or is the sirius interface truly lame? Does it really take 6 slow button pushes to go from artist, to song and back to artist? With all that screen space why cant the unit display artist, song, channel, category, etc all at the same time? And on the presets page when you set a preset it is still called "preset"? My other sat radio did all of this stuff and it only cost a hundred bucks. The garmin with XM that I have in my other car also does all of this stuff. Is this something that can be done in a future update? seems like an intern high school
  5. Thank you all! I called pioneer support today and the guy there said that this problem is usually the fault of the adaptor, or more specifically when the installer under-estimates how much force it takes to attach the adaptor to the antenna wire. He said it needs to be checked with a meter, but most installers dont do that because they dont even have a meter. He did mention the two antennas, but was pretty miffed that one of their "dealers" AUDIOPHONICS of irvine ca was blaming the problem on a cheap tuner from pioneer. He also explained that the pioneer tuner is one of the very best you
  6. My dealer just installed a 910BT in our brand new VW EOS. The car did not have factory NAV, so the option was to have the Avic 910BT installed. This was at Capistrano volkswagen in orange county ca. Well the 910BT seems to work OK, even though a cheap Garmin has much a better navigation system, we would be satisfied if the AVIC fm radio worked. It is simply terrible. It is not something they could justify charging money for. I complained about it immediatley, and at first they tried to say, "there is no problem, it gets plenty of stations", but then I had them pull up a random new car wit
