  1. Hi all, I've seen that backgrounds can be changed for the avic-f700bt. However, I've searched the forums, and google, and can't find any info on how to accomplish this. Anybody hook me up with a link?
  2. Hi Folks, I've got a Smart Fortwo and am looking to replace the stock speakers in mah car. I've got an AVICF700BT installed and towards the upper levels (55 - 62), the sound starts to get really distorted/crappy. I only have two speakers, in the front. I have a sub and amp in the back for that sub. It works fine, just want to replace the old front speakers. I'm wanting to be able to buy a set of speakers that are crystal clear at 62. Can anybody recommend what to look for, what kind of specs (frequency, watts, etc)? I know overkill on Watts can be a problem, underkill obviously is just
  3. Hi folks, Recently my AVIC-F700BT has started to start in OFF mode when I restart my car. By that I mean that it goes to the main menu with the three big icons. However no music plays, regarldless of what was playing when I turned the car off. I have to go to audio, and choose SD card and wait for it to get going and then play. Any ideas?
  4. Hi folks, I've got an AVIC-F700BT, with two Alpine Type-S (240 max watt, 80 rms) coaxial speakers. I was told that I could set up my amp, a 300watt dual channel amp, to increase the power to these speakers. I was told that they speakers would do the lows, mids and highs, even plugged into the amp. I've plugged everything in, but I'm only getting bass out of them. I turned sub-woofer off in the menu, no sound at all. Is there a setting I'm missing or anybody know how I would achieve this setup?
