  1. Hi, Just some ideas in case all the wires are OK: PROBLEM 1: Menu - system setup - Output: Intermediate (Integrated will not send any sound to the jack) volume: rotate the wheel to teh maximum Menu - Nav System setup - Sounds - Volume Level: take it to maximum (this is the output level, it is strange that it is inside the GPS menu). PROBLEM 2: Format the USB as Fat32 with 32 cluster size Concerning the IPOd, sorry but I don't have an IPOD. I guess you will need the cable. The System will only show the USB if it is fed with 5V (not when operating with the battery).
  2. Hi, My f500bt (European model, so the craddle cable does not have a yellow wire) was installed by proffesional staff some months ago and the car ignition turned out to be a nightmare for the system. After reading much I decided to analyse the installation and it was wrong: the 12V lighter plug was plugged to the unit side port and the amplifier was also connected to the craddle cable feed. I disconnected the amplifier power and the system performed quite well (some reboots, etc.) but it did not turned off/on after ignition. It just operrated with the batteries with an annoying message
  3. Hi, I am sure you did already know but the volume level in the F500bt is in the options of the GPS. If you increase the volume for GPS instructions, all the music is amplified. Please check this because it drove me crazy.
  4. Hi FourG, Sorry for the late answer but I have not had time to go to the car and test until now. I replaced all reference to "My Storage Card" for "USB Disk" in all files (not only Leet but also some files on the navigator folders). Unfortunately it does not work. I understand "My flash Disk" is the internal memory of the F500bt, I maybe wrong (that could be my next trial). Will keep you informed....
  5. I am just new to all this but I have noticed that, depending on the battery supplied power, the USB (sometimes the Sd card) are not recognised. In my case, I have to start the car to see the USB. Just one idea.....
  6. Good night, I have just tested the testmode 2.3 USB version and it boots from the USB stick without any problems. This way I can access the card and move files. It is a good solution. Anyway, this still makes me wonder wether Leetlauncher can boot completely from a USB stick. This could make possible to insert the USB stick everytime I wanted to use leetlauncher (as most people in this forum have been doing with the SD card). Will keep you informed.
  7. Thanks for the advice, By the way, in my f500bt, leetlauncher boots from the USB and then hangs (I have not found any info on Leetlauncher running from an USB, maybe I am doing something wrong or it is not possible). I have also found test mode USB version but have not tested it yet. I will check if USB booting is possible first (I'd rather not removing the dashboard, screws, etc. to reach the Sd card I have at present just in case I introduce some noises in the dashboard). If it does not work, I will have to install testmode in the Sd card, but then I would boot always in t
  8. Thanks for the fast answer, eldeep. I will try the USB client switching solution you mention.
  9. Hi, I have been reading this forum for a while and I would like to thank you all for your information and fruitful discussions. Finally I purchased a f500bt and I installed it into the car dashboard. Unfortunately I cannot access the SD card anymore and that makes me sick because I though I would have to disassemble all the dashboard for future hacking or map updates. I have tried to overcome this problem by several ways but I have not found a clear answer in the forums for all these issues: - Connect the F500bt to a computer. The computer finds something but there are not driver
