I am currently unable to use the navigation system and not sure why. I have reset the unit pressing the reset button. I have checked to make sure it is getting a good satellite signal which it is. Another possibly connected issue is that it no longer stores background pics or even keeps the default background pics. Sounds like maybe a memory thing or something. Anyone with some suggestions? Well, went through all the wiring today and also fixed my bypass so now that works correctly and still no fix to the radio in stereo thing. Strange indeed. Like I said, everything else is in stereo and when I am playing the stereo system beeps and voice guidance come out over the left channels. I'm at a loss. Chris

no infinity system. Did use the canbus setup.

I definitely checked the source settings on every source and all the fader controls are balanced. Could it be anything to do with a messed up bypass. I just installed tonight and attempted to do the bypass but it oviously didn't work because dvd's will not play at speed. I will take it out tomorrow and check all the connections. But could it have anything to do with the mute wire?

When I play my D3 radio with Ipod or DVD it plays in full stereo, but when I play the radio the left speakers do not play on my 06 Dodge Ram. Any ideas? Thanks! Chris

Just as the subject says. I am getting ready to do the D3 install on my 06 dodge Ram this weekend and know this will be the only hard part to the entire install. Thanks in advance Chris

I had an N2 for over a year before selling it to get my D3 (which arrives on the 6th). Switching out the Nav DVD for a movie is no big deal at all. It puts your route in memory mode and stores it all. I guess if you were accustomed to not having done this before it would be a little of a pain, but it's really not a big deal.

Just ordered mine through crutchfield too. Hopefully it will ship out today and have by weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If money was not a concern - which would be a better unit... A refurb Z1 or a new D3? Any features on the Z1 that are that awesome enough to make a $500 difference. If so, I'm willing to buy the Z1... just need to know. Thanks! Chris
