700BT does not keep settings and does not recognize USB

When I restart my car, I lose preset stations on XM and it always returns to XM channel 001, also, when I plug in a USB drive it will recognize it and play, but when restarting the car, it does not recognize it until I re-plug it in. Does anyone know what the problem is? -
