Yeah...i had it hacked so I can use all functions while driving. If you plan on buying this, and dont hack it, its not worth it. I also did the firmware update.. I dont have an IPOD..but I have an 8GB SD Card for music in it and I have a 32GB USB Flash drive for movies hooked up. I usually unhook the Flash Drive if I am not watching videos b/c it causes it to lagg...(fyi, the format I am using it is .avi files)..hope that helps

I have this Unit and I wish I had bought something else. My complaints are Voice recognition is terrible. Start up is ridiculously slow When I use the GPS...the screen freezes and i have to push the map button occasionally When you watch DVD's or videos, it really has some long lag times...its annoying.
