Before I go through the hassle of sending in my unit and brain for the flex cable upgrade...do you guys think this isssue is caused by the flex cable upgrade.......Touch Screen does not work on the far left side of the screen. All characters are visible, but when you try and hit a letter it will not do anything or highlight the character to the right of the one that you try to select. Any updated would be appreciated...if this is not related to the flex cable problem..should I go ahead and send in for the flex cable upgrade...thanks

is the xm interface for the n1 better.

Standard n1 with no mods...using the 1.1 disks I believe. The free ones that Pioneer sent out way back when. I am using a four chanel amp with good speakers. Sound quality of the dvd and cd changer is excellent. Will the Sirrius sound good...what display limitations will I have. Head unit says only xm on it not sirrius. Just want to make sure I don't waste the money.

I am more in to good audio than Nav so the 1.1 nav is fine with me. Using a kicker amp and good speakers all the way around. Used a rental car for a week that had Sirrius and now I am hooked. Just want to make sure the SIR-PNR2 will work with my non modified n1. last discs I got were the freebies from Pioneer way back when. I think it went from 1.0 to 1.1. Also, what are the display limititations. Head unit says XM only so I just want to make sure this will work before I spend the money.
