Turned mine in via website on 02/07/10. Just got my rebate today. I bought from Amazon (shipped from CarToys).

If you leave the map scale on the lowest setting, ie. 0.25mi instead of 0.5 or 1mi. You get a little bit more street details. Nothing like the Garmin but a little better.

Finally worked! Thanks to the picture above. I used a small flat screwdriver to lift the flat lock part across the harness up a little. It does not need to be removed so don't do that. Got a normal staple and straighten one end. Then I insert the straight end into the small hole (which is above the bigger hole where the yellow wire is). They key here is to push it in but slightly downward. By doing that you flatten the locking piece and it pulls right now. I did raise the locking piece slightly prior to reinserting for a better locking/fit. So thanks to whoever originally

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. I thought the cable you buy (iu50v) connects directly into the back of the stereo. Apparently the unit is shipped with a USB connector cable that is 2m or about 6.5 ft long already. The iu50v cable then plugs into that cable. So I'll have at least 8ft of cable length. Much better.

According to an illustration on Amazon. This cable is 0.5 meter, which is about 1.6 ft. Is it that short? I like to place my iphone in the center armrest console of my Corvette. But that's at least 2 ft away from the back of the stereo. Do most of you put the iphone/ipod in the glove compartment then? Thanks.
