  1. Yes, thanks for the link but I fixed it soon after I posted the question. I found the mute settings and adjusted accordingly. Thanks again!
  2. I have a Z110BT upgraded to the latest software, Z140BT I think. I remember when it was new if I was playing my ipod or some other audio source and I was using the navigation, the audio level would fade when the navigation spoke. It doesn't do that anymore and I can't find in the settings where to adjust this. Can someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks
  3. Yes I did find it myself after posting the question. Thanks for the info
  4. Where is this setting or are you talking about the DVD settings?
  5. Is there a fix for this scenario? I insert a standard 4:3(full screen) DVD into the Z110BT, which has been updated with the new software and map updates, and it always stretches the picture to fill the screen where the picture is not supposed to be widescreen(16:9). There should be black on either side allowing the picture to be viewed normally like any other DVD player. In the DVD settings I have the "TV aspect ratio" set to 16:9. I have tried all three settings and still stretches the picture.
  6. I had the same problem with an NTSC dvd last night when I tried to convert it. It doesn't make any sense. Some work and some don't.
  7. I checked a couple and they do seem to be in sync but I may have been watching a vid on the Z110BT that came from a dvd that may not have been in sync to start with. I tried using the CloneDVDMobile and was having some difficulty on some PAL dvds. It would quit and have errors on the last pass leaving me with no audio. On some it did finish encoding but it had an error on the last chapter. When this happened I reencoded(re-outputted) the dvd with my dvd authoring program with an extra chapter at the end so I would get the whole thing and the last chapter with the error would be only second
  8. Any problems with the audio being out of sync? I converted several music dvds(concerts) using TMPGEncDVDAuthor3 which has a Divx output and burned them to DVD+R DL discs. The program works great and the quality looked great at the highest video setting...a typical 4 gig dvd encoded at around 1 to 1.5 gig divx. However I am having problems with them being out of sync which can be most irritating. Any ideas? These conversions were typically 1785kbps and the audio was encoded at 320kbps. Would possibly encoding the audio at a lower bitrate keep them "synced" better? I haven't experimented th
  9. I have an interesting problem. When I play full screen(4:3) from my 160 gig Ipod classic the video is stretched to fill the 16:9 screen on the Z110BT no matter what resolution I sellect in the Ipod video settings on the Z110BT. Also when I play a full screen(4:3) DVD it also stretches the picture on the screen even though I have the TV size setting on the unit set to 16:9. I have tried all three settings and video doesn't change. Hopwever when I play an "avi" video from a disc that is full screen it plays correctly with black bars on either side of the screen. Any ideas?
  10. I did get a Divx avi to play via SD card. It was 528 X 288 & the bitrate was 117 kbps.
  11. When I bought my first Z110BT I had this same problem. Everything worked except the screen would not open. The "open" button and the "insert SD csrd" button lit up when I touched them but did nothing and the 2 "tilt" buttions were grayed out. I returned my unit to the place of purchase and got a replacement that did work.
  12. I don't know about being an authorized dealer but I bought one from them. Infact the first one I received from them was defective. The screeen would not open. I called them and they gladly replaced iot. All is ok now.
  13. Well I hope it's not a faulty production line as I imagine the stock which the vendor most likely came from the same batch. I should have my replacement next Thursday. We will see. All we can do is hope...
