  1. Didn't seem to do this when I first installed my deck, but now, when I get a call on my phone the deck automatically goes to the 'map/navi' screen. Is this working as intended? or is there a setting for this?
  2. just tried it! and it works! thanks so much =)
  3. When I first installed my deck, everything was working perfectly. Now when I plug my iphone in it starts charging, but I'm not able to listen to any of the music. Almost like the deck doesn't detect the iphone. I've tried putting the iphone into 'ipod' and then connecting, but still doesn't work. I plugged another ipod touch and it detects it perfectly fine, and plays music fine as well. Anyone know what it might be? I've gone through my phone to see if i've changed any setting but doesn't appear to have changed since it last worked. The phone is 3.1.2 if that helps. **Iphone works perfect
  4. no idea what the issue is, but i found a fix. i usually just leave my NAV disc in the deck since i use my ipod for all my music. so today i took the nav disc out and it boots up perfectly fine now. and when i put the nav disc in it works perfectly fine with nav and everything. so i just wont leave the disc in there anymore thanks for your help though!
  5. ok so i posted this once before, and some how it fixed itself but after picking me car up from the shop it is doing it once again. The deck works perfectly fine, i turn the engine off and when i go to turn it on again the deck goes to the "off screen" and nothing works, touch screen doesnt work... buttons dont work. but it isnt frozen cause the clock still works. I have to push the 'reset' pin before it starts working again. I have taken a video of it showing you exactly what it is doing..
  6. i installed the deck myself, my friend installed the turbo timer at his shop. i guess i will have to go back and get him to check the wiring for me. thx guys. a
  7. 2004 subaru sti i just had the turbo timer installed, started to happen after that... not too sure why it would be causing that.. because the turbo timer spliced into 3 wires (ignition, o2 sensor, ebrake).
  8. I have an avic-d3 and it has been awesome! but today it has been acting up. When i started my car this morning it was on the "OFF" screen. It has the time in the upper left corner and it says OFF underneath it. I tap the screen.... nothing. I press ANY button.... nothing. Now i know it's still working because the time changes and is correct. So i press the little pin button by the eject button and it reboots it. Everything boots up fine, deck is perfect and working again!!! I drive to my destination and turn off the car, i come back to my car and start it up again... SAM
