Bump for help....

Thanks for the info, So I copy the files from the headunit to a flash drive, open that file on my pc and change the values, then put it back in the head unit and recopy modded file to the same location. Am I following?? Thanks Mike

Hi guys, I've read for over a week and have messed and messed with my avic-90 in the windows ce enviroment but cannot figure out how to view the files that need to be modified for any hack. Am I doing somthing wrong? On the laptop side when I try to open a file such as mitcap in word pad or note pad it's blank? On the headunit side it wont allow me to open the file. Any help would be appreciated for this newb. Mike

Hi guys, sorry to sound stupid on this but, Ive tried for 45 min now to get my f90bt to take the downloaded test mode file from my sd card to no avial. I know the two files have to be in the root of the card but does that mean I have to take every folder and put the files individually onto the sd? What I've been doing is downloading the file, extracting the files, then I get two folders one labled testmode the other mitacap. What to I do next? Do I need to reset the unit with the sd card in it or will just restarting it with it in work? Thanks Mike
