Did my own testing and it does work fully You can use your AVIC to control the ipod to output to a rear SCREEN and then switch to the map mode etc.. and the video keeps playing - frickin brilliant!!

Hi, So basically I got an F500BT recently and I have a black video IPOD 30GB and Ideally If I could use the AVIC unit to control the IPOD and either just not connect the video out of the AVIC cable to the IPOD and instead connect the video out of the ipod to a REAR LCD Screen so: -that the AVIC would control the ipod -The video would ouput to the other screen -I could use the other AVIC functions while this was happening? You guys think that would be possible?
