  1. It has been solved. You can find a topic + solution in the comments right here: http://www.winmo.nl/pioneer-avic-f910bt ... et-htc-hd2 It's in Dutch, so use Google Translate when you don't understand.
  2. Alright, got the voice recognition sorted out (seems to be only for USA models, but no idea why I still have that voice icon on my front panel) and the entire Bluetooth crap issue is FIRMWARE and FIRMWARE ALONE. Today I've been pairing a Nokia E71 to my F910BT and it WORKS LIKE A CHARM. Even the phonebook contacts are displayed correctly, showing firstname first, lastname last. When I receive a call, the caller name is displayed, I can adjust volume while in call, hangup, etc. etc. everything works like it really should. When I connect my HTC HD2 (with both the F910BT's Bluetooth
  3. Hey there, The round button on my AVIC F910BT has a small speaking figure and telephone icon on top. The manual says that it can be used to end active phone calls, and forums (this one too) say that it can be used for voice dialing phone numbers/contacts. In my case that button doesn't do much. The only thing it does is mute the audio when long pressed. In other words: I can't end phonecalls which is quite frustrating when I run into someone's voicemail. I have tried pulling that button up, pressing it, it just won't work. The phone I'm using is an HTC HD2 and the firmware of th
  4. Hey there, While MP3 files on the AVIC F910BT there's this LIST button that shows the complete folder structure on your SD (or USB) which makes it easy to quickly jump to any file or browse through the folders. When there are video files present, pressing VIDEO in the top right corner switches to the video player. But the video player instantly starts playing the first video found on the sd/usb and then we can only jump to the very next or previous video file, with another "folder" button that jumps to the next/previous folder. Isn't there a way to get that same LIST function with
  5. Alright, stupid, didn't exactly read the installation manual. Something with the parking break lead and grounding.
  6. Hi there, I have just finished installing my F910BT in my Mazda 3 '05. And directly after that a problem occured: I can't access the settings. Both SYSTEM SETTINGS and NAV SETTINGS are greyed out in the settings menu, so they can't be opened. When I press PHONE, all those items in the phone menu are greyed out as well. So.... what to do? Has this something to do with that parking break wire? I have not connected that one to something at all - it is just hanging there behind the deck. In other words: the F910BT is just connected through an ISO adapter to the car, that's it. W
  7. Thanks for the answer. But can you then turn off the screen by a button on the unit itself? Note: the screen only (to avoid having a shiny light in the car while driving in the dark), not the unit itself.
  8. Hi there, Thinking of buying an AVIC F910BT and having one question of something important to me: can it do multitasking? And by multitasking I mean stuff like running gps navigation and putting it to to background in order to jump quickly to the radio or media player screen to do something/switch album, while the gps software is still running in the background and then to switch back to the gps software? And something else: does the F910BT has a "switch off screen" function while running and is that something that can be controlled from the steering wheel controls too (e.g. by holding
  9. Hi jwq, Thanks for you answer. Then I guess I'll be better off spending more for the European version. One remaining question though: what's the screen resolution of the AVIC X/F910BT?
  10. Hi all, I am in The Netherlands, Europe. I am considering buying a Pioneer Avic X910BT since I find it a lot cheaper than the F910BT. To me they look the same, but now the question is: is it 100% possible to actually USE the X910BT here in The Netherlands? What exactly is the difference between X and F, and also: 1. The X910BT is the USA model, will the FM radio functions work? 2. Is it possible to change the system language to Dutch or isn't it the X910BT that multilingual? 3. Is it possible to change the gps software system language and the tts/voice guidance language to Dutch?
