You think that's true? My unit is acting up, rebooting constantly. Pioneer told me it's because of the parking brake bypass- the software caught up with it or something. So I sent it in to them to fix. You think it's true what they told me?

My unit has constantly been rebooting also the last month....out of nowhere. plays audio for 2 min then reboots. Can't see the map either. Pioneer tells me it's because the software caught up with the parking brake bypass. So I sent the unit in.

That's interesting, my unit has been saying "system startup, please wait " for the last month....Out of nowhere. Can't figure anything out, so I sent the unit to Pioneer.

I have been using my AVIC F700bt for 1 1/2 years. Sometimes while driving it would crash suddenly, but not too often. Anyways, the last 3 weeks a message has been appearing "system startup in progress...please wait". It NEVER goes away. I can't access the map at all. I can only go to AM/FM, but after 1 minute the unit REBOOTS. The process will repeat over and over again. I called Pioneer and they said it's because of the parking brake bypass.
