  1. In the phone book settings there is a Clear all section where you can clear everything or select what you want to clear. I chose to clear the contacts then I reloaded the contacts and the same thing. The only workaround is to delete the phone from the radio and start all over.
  2. So I have been having problems using voice commands to dial any of my contacts by name. I can dial by number, I also had full voice control in iPod mode. When trying to say the name I was trying to dial, on the first attempt I got, “What was that”, second attempt, “I didn’t understand you”, third attempt “showing all albums”. I spoke with 3 different Pioneer techs and got different stories from all 3. I was working with a Crutchfield technician who has been instrumental in trying to find a resolution to this. Here is what he found out from a Pioneer technician who has seen this issue. If you
  3. Yes the Z110BT does look like a much nicer radio, I am not too willing to spend another $600 with hopes that it will do what the X910BT does not.
  4. Is there anyone out there having any issues making hands free calls to anyone on their contact list? I have tried an iPhone 3G, Samsung Impression, LG Rumor and a Sanyo SCP-8400. I can dial by number, I can perform any iPod command through VR, when I say the name to dial the system responds with "what was that"? I try it again, "I didn't understand", I try a third time and the system says, "Showing all albums". Also after I have transferred my contact list over to the radio, if I make any changes to the contact list on the phone and transfer the phone book again the radio does not show the upd
  5. Yes the speed sensor wire I found was more accurate at keeping the right speed. And I am sorry I asked such questions without spending an entire day searching through all the posts to find what I am looking for, what was I thinking????
  6. I just installed my x910 yesterday and I did use the Apple iPod Composite cable. The tech support rep at Crutchfield said I have to use the Pioneer cable but I took my chances with the Apple cable, I bought it from Walmart for 48.99. I knew if it didn't work I could always return it.
  7. So I just installed the X910 in my '06 Chevy Trailblazer equipped with the Bose sound system and OnStar. It took the entire day yesterday but it all came out wonderfully. I ran the bypass so that the navi can be used while driving and DVD's can be viewed. The thing I don't understand is why the mute wire had to be grounded along with the parking break wire. With the parking break wire grounded I was able to get video through without the parking break being engaged. Of course I didn't try driving the vehicle with only the parking break grounded. Can someone explain what grounding of the mute wi
