  2. OK, here's one for the genius' among you. I've done an extensive search and while there's lots of references to the files for the cameras and updates for how they are notified, i can't find anything that tells how to mod the files directly. I want to be able to add an imaginary camera local to myself (the nearest real one is 45minutes away) so i can test settings. Does anyone know (or know a link to) how i can do this? Thanks in advance
  3. Is there any way this can be adjusted so they sound, say, when travelling at over 80% of the posted speed? My old Garmin unit gives a soft bing and a grey warning when near the limit, and a loud bing and red warning when over the limit. Something similar would be useful, but i guess you have to do one of the complete UI mods...
  4. Thanks for the reply! I've managed to work through routing using custom POIs, which while a little lengthy, works OK. The save option works now too - operator error before i think I wasn't aware there was a hack for free speed cameras in the UK! The only decent database available over here normally is PocketGPSWorld, which loads onto your unit as POIs, but unless the hack adds the function for POI warnings then there's little point... Or am i mistaken?!
  5. Hi, Newbie so please be kind! I've recently installed an F910BT into my car, updated the that latest 3.xx firmware, and it mostly works fine - it's even not that slow to start - but i have a couple of annoying glitches. I've searched the forum but can't find an answer on this, so apologies if i'm asking a stupid question... How are you supposed to upload routes to the unit? You can use POIbase or Navgate feeds to create POIs, but not routes. Similarly there doesn't appear to be any option on the unit to save a route if you go to the trouble of adding loads of waypoints.
