  1. I just installed avic110 in 2010 GTI and everythings seems to work fine. However, my teenage son hears a very low pitched hiss/hum coming from all speakers. It is more noticable at higher volumes when no sound or pause in music. To test it I put the CD on pause and turned volume up and could really hear it. This is what I have: 1)connect2 with VW wireing harness 2)avic110 connected to OEM Dynaudeo speakers with OEM amp connected through harness(crimped connecters, I should have solder and heat wrapped) 3)connect2 antenna adaptor with blue wire connected to unit 4)Ok I thought this w
  2. I have 2010 GTI just installed avic 110 with connect2 unit with harness but the HU is in night mode when lights are off and unit in automatic mode. Could this be related to daytime running lights?
  3. Ok I have read all the posts from others and have got great ideas. I think I will try to order garmin external mic. But is it possible to splice into the OEM mic in my 2010 GTi? Would OEM mic be better? Just thinking!
  4. I have successfully did bypass thanks to this forum. Now I need to move avic 110 to 2010 GTI and connect to Pac C2R- VW. Since I have moved the mute wire and grounded it and the paking brake wire, what do I do with the parking brake wire on the C2R-VW unit? Do I also ground it or just leave it un connected? Thanks
