is anyone else having problems with this combination? ive had the swips for as long as i had my 9800bt and everything worked great. when i made the swap i lost steering wheel controls. ive seen someone post here that had no problems on his nissan and i swear i saw someone else that had problems on a different setup. any help is appreciated, thanks

in my 2 years there we've always price matched and will continue to do so as long as im involved. i assumed we were all still price matching, i guess other ccitys are getting away from it for some reason my bad. if youre in central AR and need a price match on mobile then im your man, i cant speak for brentwood

nobody knows. but theyll price match, and if they give you any crap about crutchfield being internet only then point out crutchfield's retail store in VA or where ever they are located.

i agree 1099 is high, thats why im not paying it. im not getting ripped either (try returning something to tundraelectronics or savinglots). circuit city will price match too, so just take a printout from crutchfield in to your local store and have one ordered.

i ordered mine through ccity, any sales associate should be able to put a special order in for you. the sales sku is pio avicd3 (duh). theyre 1099, 895 for employees. i got mine through ccity 1, because i work there and 2, to take advantage of our extended warranty where its a direct swap if anything is wrong w/ the unit.

not really super huge news on the availability, but the d3s DID just show up in our computers at ccity this week meaning the release is imminent. i'd expect them to be right on time with their original march estimate. theyre available for special order now though i got mine for 895
