Called Pioneer yesterday and at first they had no idea what I was talking about. The guy on the phone put me on hold for a long time (about 15 minutes) then he came back and told me they had performed the same experiment on one of there own vehicles and that the same thing happens in their car. He said he would guess that it was normal operation and he doesn't think anything is wrong with the unit or settings.

Ok I just bought my z110bt last week and still learning how it works. Can someone tell me if if this is a settings issue, install/connection issue, mfg defect or just plain normal operation?
