The 700/7010 series don't have MSN, you need the 9 series units. So is it a hardware thing? I am running software from a 9 series and it works great.

Good point. The POI's arent that important to sacrifice unit speed. All in all, it runs great now that I got the new firmware in it. Have to give many props to a lot of different people here, not just 1 or 2.... I went from having a radio that I HATED that then bricked, to a radio that I LOVE!!

Avic feeds only does POI. No favorites that I can see.... Sucks the SD card has to stay in. Anyone know of a way to put it in the flash memory? I tried doin the status to get the id number, and it just stays on locating MSN or somehting. Do I need another antenna for the MSN? I have a F7010BT.

There are a ton of threads here all about getting up and running. Do what I did. Read them. After you read them, and fix your unit, then post.

I noticed the same with a couple of vids I had. 2 Avi's, one worked, one didn't. At first I thought it needed to be an mp4, then realized I was wasting my time converting.. Anyway, make sure the video codec is Divx. As to why it worked before and not now, I don't know. Perhaps the older version supported that codec and then it got yanked. Maybe to speed it up they cut some stuff out and that was one of em? Just spitballin here.

Couple of simple questions I didn't see asked before.... I bricked my F7010BT, but got it working again cause you guys are awesome! Running the 3.0 firmware like a charm!!! anyway, I never had my stuff backed up so it was lost. I want to know... 1. Is there a way to edit my favorites (Destinations) on my PC and then transfer them to Unit via SD card? 2. How can I do the same with the POI? I have that Avic feeds software, but the unit doesn't want to grab the POI's off the SD card. 3. Being that it is someone else's backup, is there a way to get MSN direct working? I'll pay the

Try checking the video codec on the 2 files. If they match, well then I'm out of ideas. lol Just a thought....

Exactly. There is a thread in the hack forum with instructions and files that anyone can follow and it worked for me like a charm. Let me know if you can't find it.

Works like a charm!!!! Just got my Brick F7010BT up and running with 3.02!!! Follow the instructions on page one using the files grabbed from page 15. I would put links, but I don't know how to do that yet.
