  1. Just as it says, I plug them in, and switch to them, but it just sits saying "Now Loading". The funny thing is that under the function tab it says "video", suggesting that it is trying to recognize the files as video, but they are all mp3. Any help would be great. Thanks! OH in test mode using total commander, it brings up the drive and shows mp3 files just fine, so I know it sees them there.
  2. Update: My contacts synced. At first I was just in the car for 30 mins driving and after I got out and turned the car off the phone had a popup that said "AVIC would like to copy contacts: Yes/No" but it was to late. Well, I got back in the car and thought hopefully the mysterious popup will come back. After 20 mins I got sick of waiting so I started farkin with it again. I told the HU to sync, and then I beamed all contacts to the HU. It worked. It took about 3 mins, and they all appeared. It wont give you all the numbers for every contact, but the way its set up it gives mobile fi
  3. Just got radio in the car this afternoon earlier. Have placed and received several phone calls with no trouble and no lag. Phone automatically pairs as soon as I get in the car with no restarts (leaving bluetooth on). Only thing it wont do is sync the contacts. P.S. Everyone says the quality is really good, and I am using the Garmin mic.
  4. I understand that. The problem is the harness that comes out of the pioneer (forget the metra harness). Its aftermarket, and only contains a solid orange labeled "Illumination". I think its a mislabel, but I want to verify. I believe whoever made the harness meant it to be an orange/white wire, but instead put a solid orange wire. So the position is pin 3 from the right (your right as you look at it) on the bottom next to the red 12v+ wire. I just need someone to verify that this wires color should be orange/white (dimmer wire).
  5. Ok so my pioneer came from ebay, used without the power harness. I ordered one from ebay and hooked it up yesterday to my battery charger and a speaker and everything worked fine there. Today I had to wire into my metra harness for my RSX. Orange and white from the pioneer harness is supposed to be dimmer right? Well this ebay harness had a solid orange labeled illumination, and thats it. As far as I can tell the oem doesnt have that. This wire was located in pin three on the bottom right next to the red wire. Is this the orange and white wire for dimmer? I hooked it to dimmer wir
  6. I just did all of that, and wired in my metra harness (for rsx). Will hook up in a few days when my dash kit gets in and see how she works!!!
  7. So I have gone through the bypass threads but can't pin down an answer for this. Why do you need to move the mute wire? I had the unit hooked using battery charger and speaker yesterday to test it (used unit), and all I did was ground the p-brake wire and seemed to have functionality for everything. Whats the purpose of moving the mute wire?
  8. I have a touch pro running mighty rom. Now I did just hook the radio up today for the first time using a battery charger and one speaker. I am running a garmin mic. I was able to place a call with no problem, and as far as I can tell this radio has not been updated (it is used). I had no issues with pairing or calling or the radio rebooting. I did not receive any calls on it though. I will find out more in a couple of days when I put it in the car. I dont understand the relocating the mute wire for the bypass? Today when I hooked up the radio, all I did was ground the parking brak
