Nah the prev. unit was factory installed aswell. (Limited Edition Golf GTI). I went to look at some date stamps on receipts i've got and came to the conclusion i have used my old iPhone with this unit. Back then it was working fine. Looks like it's an iPhone 4 / iOS 4 problem. I will try and test this with a Nokia tonight.

Did u remove all the existing maps and replaced EZrider.exe? U also need to add the license, dont remove the current one. It works on my 9110 which is the same unit.

I would like to know if this is fixable aswell. Even my old Parrot would display the Caller ID. My F9110 just displays the number, so i have to pick up the phone to see who's actually calling

Hi, My F910 was stolen before summer, while it was being replaced with a F9110 I dropped my iPhone 3G. I wanted to wait for the iPhone 4 so i carried an ancient phone arround for a while. Now i've got my iPhone 4 and just paired it up with the Avic, my other phone did not have BT. I made a few calls during the past few days using the F9110 but i keep getting complaints about the bad sound quality and people hearing themselves talking... The Avic is hooked up to the built-in mic in my VW Golf GTI Mk5. (So was the F910) Please advice! Bento

I'm affraid i don't. I think it's probably the EZRider.exe which probably is a different version on the F500. You could try Googling for the solution i guess...

No clue, just extract and overwrite I'm making a new RAR file now without the extra compression settings for more compatibility.

It will take a night. I can't remote upload the files i have on my private server back to RS bacause they flagged it as illegal. I will need to create a new RAR archive and reupload on my crappy connection

Those are older maps. My uploads are newer.

Different companies so different maps i guess. All my previous satnavs had TeleAtlas and they've been great so i'm sticking with TA.

Download again, or try the RS links.

TeleAtlas 2010 Q2 Maps for Europe I tested this on my AVIC F-9110 BT with the latest firmware (3.x), the maps are fully functional. It may work on other F-Series units but I'm unable to test on those Instructions: Download the files below Extract them to the root of your SD card Go into testmode Make a complete backup of the flashdrive! Okay so it works I changed the filename of 1 new map to the name of the current map on the device and copied the map and the poi file over. Then i replaced the EZRIDER.EXE and added a Generic license i found on this board. Rebooted and voila all 2008.10 maps and the single map i updated is 2010.06 Will post better links on RapidShare or MegaUpload in a single file and a quick How to when its all uploaded.

Will this work without patching anything? Should i rename all the files to match the current filenames on the device?
