my girlfriends iPhone4 and iPad 2 work fine on my Z130. just hit the app button and your good to go!

I did it on my Z130 and had no problems. Be veryyy veryyy careful when removing the pin. Do not rush it or force it or else you will break it!

Update: Great news! My replacement Z130 came in today. I used the mic from the new unit on my original Z130 and I can confirm that all the issues I previously had with this unit and my Z120's are fixed. The Z130 address the call quality issues the Z120 was having. Im going to put my engineering degree to work tonight and try to diagnose why the original mic was not working, If I find anything interesting I will be sure to post.

It is definitely plugged into the correct port. I have checked and double checked, wiggled wires, etc. I do not know if it is a mic, Head unit, or software issue. Amazon cant get me a replacement until May!

Mine is 100% in the correct jack. I have tried spinning, pushing, and pulling the plug to get some sort of feedback from the mic. I am assuming it is a mic issue.

The pairing issues seem to be fixed as my Blackberry and iphone have no problems pairing and sending audio.

I just read it. Assuming I am understanding this correctly... I have to buy a new external mic that is not pioneer and my problem will be solved?? The voice recognition does not work at all

I installed my Z130 yesterday and can not get mic or VR on the unit to work. I have installed many AVIC units and never had the problem until the Z130. I called Amazon today and they are sending a new unit UPS overnight. Has anyone else had this problem?

I just got mine in. I installed it yesterday and everything is good EXCEPT the damn mic. I have tried everything to get it to work. I have tried the mic on other devices and it works fine but when I plug it into the head unit it does not hear do anything. Update: I've called Amazon and they are overnighting me a replacement unit for free

I am buying a AVIC 900BT this afternoon that has all the software updates. I am grounding the parking break and doing the mute wire mod. Are their any mods or other upgrades out there that I should do or be aware of?? I have been a little out of touch with the AVICs for the past 2 years since I sold my AVIC. Thanks for the help and sorry if this is a repost
