the only problem with that is that i am not using the bose factory amp. i have bypassed it because i am using an aftermarket amp to power my speakers.

i just replaced my old z1 with a new z110bt on my 2005 chevy silverado,but when i finished wiring it up i noticed that the interface module(to retain onstar, with not bose) was not putting out my 12v acc output when i turned the key on. i replaced the module with new (onstar and bose retainment) module and the stereo turned on but i had no sound from the speakers which are powered by an amplifier i had installed. i just hear the bass bumping but no sound. Does anyone think that the reason of this might be that i need a non bose module?
