  1. After installing these maps my TTS has stop working for all langs. No sound comes out when these are selected. any non TTS langs work fine. Would could be going wrong? i have recopied the scansoft files and the voice zip. is there a place that holds just the TTS files that could be corrupted? do these new maps not support TTS?
  2. any update? thank you for doing this for us.
  3. 700 and 900 have the same installation manual. It does not give this information. it does say that the 900 has it and in on picture it shows the wire being on the far left. This is just for ease of reading because the picture only shows 4 wires which is obviously incorrect. i attached the picture. This is the first thing i check before trying to find a forum.
  4. I'm not sure who the noob is. Clearly i would need to someone to look at a 900 harness and tell me which pin is the video out. Video out is LABELED on the harness. There are no labels that tell you what pins are what on the 700. I would need to see something like: 900 A/V HARNESS x|x|x|o|x ^ Video out (labeled with a tag on the wire) Then see if i have a pin in that location on my 700. I really am missing how this is possible to do this without the 900 harness. I am hardly a noob. It is clear that because you don't understand you are taking it out on me. This inform
  5. Are you joking? the most important thing for me to know is whats on the back of the 900 harness. I don't need the pins on the 700 like you said. That is not what i really wanted. I first asked if anyone knows if this would work. Then i realized no one did. At this point i need to know what the pins are in the back of a 900 harness. if i don't know this it doesn't matter what i see on the back of my 700. I need to find which pin is the video on the harness of the 900 to see if i have a corresponding pin on the back of my 700. I do not agree with your statement about the software. It is enti
  6. You're making this *WAY* harder then it needs to be, Abb1 give you everything you need to know, he went from an F700 to an F910, and the AV harness was the same, that will translate to the 7010, you don't need to have the minutia of having someone confirm that every single pin and every single color is identical. Pioneer isn't dumb, it isn't cost effective to change harnesses every year for every model. You have obviously missed the whole point of the thread. Its fine if you don't want to read it, but please don't comment. To catch you up: 7 series does not have video out on it
  7. Actually thats backwards. The power harness is interchangeable but not the AV. Its not going to work. Nope, trust me on this, I went from an F700bt to n X910BT. Pioneer told me that the AV would work in both but the power harness would not. I did not believe them as the pin configuration was identical in the power harness, but when I tried it, it did not work and they were right . So I kept the AV harness the same and attached it to my X910, and then used the power harness that I was supposed to use and then it worked. I contacted Pioneer again afterwards because I was stumped as to why the
  8. The pins for the F700bt is the same as the X710bt and in the same location.... HOWEVER, THEY ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE AND IT WILL NOT WORK!! This has been confirmed!! The only harness that is interchangeable is the AV harness, but NOT THE POWER HARNESS!! The A/V harness is the one i want to change. So you are saying this would work? If someone has tried it do you know if that had Video out after trying it? I am not concerned with the power harness.
  9. I am trying to possibly get video out on my x710bt. Has anyone seen if this would work. i understand there would be no settings screen for video out. First, would the harness even connect to a x710bt? Second, has anyone heard anyone trying this? It was suggested by a tech at pioneer to attempt it, but at $50 it is a pretty expensive test. My assumption is that if it worked it would just constantly output the video source.
  10. Thank you! you will be saving me at least $50 if it does not work!
  11. Does anyone have a pic of the pin layouts? A side-by-side shot would be very helpful! Thank you in advance!
  12. I understand this is the F forum, but i think the hardware might be the same. I am trying to possibly get video out on my x710bt.
