  1. I get what you are saying as far as tech. The AVHP3200DVD I recently purchased was my first aftermarket stereo, and in some ways I am quite impressed with it, but it also falls short in surprising ways. With the ability to read USB drives, SD cards, and DVDs, I just expected it to perform more like a computer, I think. But the file management leaves a lot to be desired.   2. Sometimes when I play Divx files on my P3200DVD, there is a severe mismatch between the audio and video. It's like the video is dropping frames and speeding up, while the audio plays correctly. It starts out small, but the effect is cumulative, so by the end of a 30 minute video it is way out of sync. The videos play just fine on my PC, no problem at all. And I can't find any differences between the videos that play properly on the P3200DVD and those that don't.   3. If you're not getting beyond the warning screen, then either you aren't setting your parking brake or the unit hasn't been wired into the parking brake correctly. If you can see the warning screen and hear audio, then you should be able to engage the parking brake and see a second blue info screen that allows you to press OK. Sometimes you have to disengage and then engage your parking brake again.
