I replaced the files with not luck. I would press phone on the main screen and nothing. Any suggestions. I also added the old files with the new ones still on with no luck. I had to add the 3.0 files back to get the phone function to come up.

Very sure. That's why it caught my attention. I even had one contact with last name first on my old phone and that was the only one that was last name first in the list.

With the previous iPhone my address book would transfer the same as it was on the phone, first name first, last name last. Now with the iphone 4 it's doing it in reverse, last name first, first name last. On the phone I have my contacts as first name first. I switched it to last name first and did another transfer, but no change. Any ideas?

How do you add those files?
