I gues it may be a dumb question but still. 

I have a great radio (AVIC Z3) that everything works on but the maps being last updated in 2012 is killing me with new roads, road changes and address not found. 

Is there any way to update maps without buying a new radio???

This thing cost $1800 new and it’s ridiculous that I have to drive with a gps radio and iPhone maps open at the same time. 

I replaced the display rack. 

Man what a bunch of parts. 

Anyway I discovered that I also have a gear with stripped teeth on the drive unit.  It’s the white dual gear adjacent to the little motor on the drive unit  

Anyone have the part numbers to the drive assembly or to the individual gears?

I hope by the time the other parts get here I can remember how to reassemble.

I couldn’t find it in the big manual but I did find it on the Quick Start guide.

Sorry for the trouble.

I’ve searched the website and ran through the manual and can’t locate anything. Perhaps not using the correct search parameters.

Some how I changed the screen tilt angle and can’t figure out how to get back to that setting to put it back to no tilt.

Can someone please tell me how to get back to that setting so I can set it back?

There is a calibration.

Hold down the "v" button to go to that screen.

Is there a procedure for reorientation of the touch buttons/touch screen on my AVIC Z3?

The buttons seem to be off upwards about 1/4".

Any way to fix this?
