  1. I should also add that this is in 3D mode that I am having issues with the street names.
  2. As far as my neighborhood is concerned, it simply does not exist in the map. I have tried to zoom in, but I still only get major streets.
  3. I have a Z120 and the maps suck. They do not show street names, even my housing tract built in 2006 does not show up. Now that the Z130 has nav traffic, have they made any progress with the maps??? At this point I need to by a $99 Garmin to replace my $1,500 Pioneer "navigation" unit!
  4. I had the same issue with my moto droid and the z120. Here is the simple solution which works great. 1. go to the droid market and download "bluetooth file transfer". 2. go to your contacts on your phone, click on the four lines on the bottom of the droid, next to the home button. 3. Export your contacts to your SD card. 4. Set the pioneer so it is looking for the file transfer. 5. Use bluetooth file transfer to send the .VCF file. this works and took my phonebook about 30 seconds to send.

I the Eclipse has all of the names, without crowding the screen, it can be done successfully. An option for name detail would be great.
  6. I agree, a $99 garmin is better in this respect. Even if I zoom in the names are VERY limited. I don't know why Pioneer limits its ability to see the names, they are certainly in the nav unit, Eclipse does a great job on this aspect. Hello, Pioneer, are you listening?
  7. I just changed from an Eclipse Nav unit to the Pioneer Z120. So far the Pioneer is great in many different ways, especially the voice commands (when they work...its a PITA to click OK prior to the bluetooth). My main concern is with the navigation, most of the street names are missing. On the Eclipse all of the street names were there, which is very nice and a LARGE portion of what I use the nav for. WIth the street names on the Nav I can see what is coming up for quite a distance without having to slow down for street signs. The Pioneer has VERY FEW street names listed, making the
