  1. I always wondered this, living in Illinois, and upgrading to cndv70 sparked my interest again. The 4 or 5 states that are on both the west and east coast disc's.. Is the information on both discs the same for those states? Even POI's? Or do they split the information? Anyone know the answer? Thanks in advance!
  2. Red/Yellow? Are you sure. When i asked in the VSS Wire forum, i was told Purple/Red. Also doing a little searching online shows it to be purple/red also.. Just want to make sure I am using the correct wire...
  3. No one has any suggestions huh? I was hoping to find a way to determine if the unit was defective for sure, before sending it in...
  4. After connecting the VSS wire to the purple/red wire on the instrument cluster of my 2001 Nissan Sentra, the Status of the sensor stays at initializing. After driving for about 10 minutes my Check Engine light came on. Went home, hooked up my ODBII reader, and the error code indicated Speed Sensor Malfunction. Removed the Splice that came with the Avic-N3 to verify that wire was not severed. Wire is intact. I then kept VSS Wire for nav disconnected, taped up Car's VSS wire, Reset Check Engine light and verified light did not come back on after 20 minutes of driving. Also staus of sensor no
  5. Looking to connect the reverse signal and VSS wire for a 2001 Nissan Sentra. Can't find info anywhere for my year on the web. Any help? Thanks! Also, Do I need to hook up the reverse signal if not using a backup camera? Will not hooking it up cause system to not go into 3D Hybrid mode?
  6. Thanks for the info. Someone on the12volt.com forum directed me to the PCM, Dark Green / Yellow, Pin 27. Installed yesterday and looks to be working great. Going through the firewall in this car wasn't as bad as my other cars were.
  7. Installed a AVIC-N3 into a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I want to connect the VSS wire. I found a Wire Diagram that stated their should be a white/orange wire in the instrument cluster at pin 4, but no such wire exists. I would like to find a location I can tap off of inside the vehicle so I do not have to go through the Firewall. I do have Cruise Control built into my steering wheel, not sure I can use the wire from there. Thanks for any Information in advanced.
