We used Custom Car Stereo on the SW Freeway at Bellaire to install our Z-120BT and an alarm. They're pricey, but very professional and did a great job. Ask to speak with Chris (the manager) if you call them.

I noticed the same thing on my z120 last weekend. After lots of playing around with it, I realized that if I turned off the "Staging" option, the sub controls started working again. I coudldn';t find any mention of this in the manual -- and the controls don't gray out when staging is turned on -- but the staging controls clearly take priority over the sub controls. On the bright side, once I turned off the staging, I was able to achieve a much better balance for my system. Sounds 1000% better.
