I was considering this unit for navigaton in my 05 GMC Sierra 2500HD truck..... I like my Bose factory radio the way it is. I like the large screen and the fact that I can mount it in the lower opening in my console. When I dont need it the screen is safely out of the way and the faceplate is removable and maybe less likely to get stolen.... My question is: Can I use one of these units without the stereo part??????? I'm just wanting it for navigation purposes, no dvd's or stuff. I could care less too even hear voice promps either. Our local stereo shops aren't able too answer this, so I though
